Hi,

I would like to explore Swiss-France in 2nd week of October ( 2 persons). My places of interest are Lucerne, Interlaken,Mt Titlis,Rhine falls,Jungfraujoch,Mt. Pilatus, Gstaad in Swiss and Paris in France. Duration approx Swiss 5 nights, Paris 5 nights.I plan to stay in Lucerne and do day trips to these places in Switzerland and don't intend to travel a lot in Paris except inter-city. Kindly suggest me if a Eurail pass for Swiss-France is better or Swiss saver pass is better to cover these places. Will Eurail pass help me for my travel from Lucerne to Paris.I do not necessarily need to travel 1st class. Thanking you in anticipation.

Hi sarangn,

I recommend a Swiss Pass plus a point to point TGV ticket for your trip from Paris to Basel (Swiss border). It's not worth it getting a Eurail Pass including France for just that single trip. Furthermore, the Swiss Pass includes more than a Eurail Pass when it comes to Switzerland. You may also want to look into the Paris Pass.

You will find these resources useful:

Just let me know if any questions remain.
