We are a family of three adults traveling to Wengen next summer, for 10 days, and mainly hike in the area and visit nearby villages. Since we will be traveling to and around Germany first, we will get a two country (Germany Switzerland) Eurail pass. My understanding is that this will give us 25% discounts on all local transportation (trains and lifts/gondolas) in the Jungfrau area. My question is: do we get discounts only on the days we use the Eurail pass, or in between first and last day of using it? If it’s the former, which Swiss pass should we get in addition to Eurail pass?
