I would like to Domodossola from Brig, I'm a swiss pass(saver) holder:
a) Domodossola - brig route covered by swisspass?
b)I noticed that beside regional train, there're quite a big numbers of EuroCity train ride per day from Brig - Domodossola, if I take EuroCity train from brig to domossola, do I need to make seat reservation and pay extra? or Swisspass only cover regional train only?

Hi limyokelan,

a) Yes, Brig - Domodossola is covered. The map we link to from the Swiss Pass page shows what's included.
b) The Swiss Pass covers all trains on any route that is on the map I mentioned. If you select a train that requires a seat reservation, you have to arrange for that separately.

Have a good trip!

You do not need a seat reservation from Domodosola to Brig on E trains. They are available but not required or necessary

Hello limyokelan. Yes, you can still board the train even if it's quite full. However, this doesn't happen very often, especially not if you manage to travel outside of the tourist high season (July and August) and rush hours.
