As you can see from our other forum topics, there are currently many promotions that make traveling by Swiss rail a lot cheaper. Are you planning to combine your visit to Switzerland with one or more neighbouring countries? In that case your best buy may be a Eurail Pass that covers multiple countries.

Until May 28, 2012, Rail Europe offers an extra day of free traveling with your 6, 8 or 10-day Eurail Select Pass. This offer is valid for any type of Eurail Select Pass (Saver, Youth and individual) that covers 3, 4 or 5 bordering countries. US and Canadian travelers can get an additional $50 off by combining this offer with this one.
