    Does the Swiss Pass include travel on the public transportation system FART in Locarno?

    Hi Darkcoast, and welcome! Yes, the Swiss Pass includes free traveling on public transportation in Locarno. A map showing the area of validity can be reviewed by clicking the link at the Swiss Pass page. Purchase options and further details can be found here as well.

    Hi Darkcoast,
    To confirm: the entire length of the FART system between Locarno and Domodossola is covered by the Swiss Pass, even the Italian section.

    Thanks Andrew and Annika…Just returned to Canada from 7 days in Switzerland…the Swiss Pass was great, specially being able to use it in and around Locarno (FART)… the SBB rail system in general as wells various funiculars, lifts and public transportation throughout the Country!
