Hi forumers,

I’ve been getting conflicting information regarding the discount on the Gondola to accent to First Grindelwald.

In the public transport map from Swiss Railway website, the gondola was indicated as having 50% discount for the Swiss Travel Pass.

However in the SBB version, it has a marker for only 25% discount.

If anyone has bought them recently with the Swiss Travel Pass or have information on this, could you please enlightened me on this?

Hi Rayleigh,

You’ll find the latest map here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/validity, but all maps show the same discount of 50%. The “1” marker for 25% off only applies to the red dotted Jungfraujoch line.

Hi Arno,

How do i tell if one map is the correct one over the other? All the maps including the one linked by you says version 12.2016. Although only the version by Swiss railway is indicating a 25% discount while the other two links indicates 50% discount.

Hi Rayleigh,

The Swissrailways version has a misplaced (1). It does not apply to First, only to the dotted Jungfraujoch line. We double checked the Swiss Travel System documentation and Grindelwald-First is 50% off like the others. Only Jungfraujoch is an exception.
