Next December i will be travelling to Switzerland with my wife for the first time.

We will be entering the country from Austria (Vienna), and we are planning to stay for three nights in switzerland before going to Milan.

So basically using the given information, we are open to receive any suggestion you might have, on where to go, where to stay, what to do.

We´d love to see the swiss alps, but again any suggestion will be welcome

Thank you very much for your help

Hi eleal, and welcome to the forum. Great that you get to visit Switzerland for the first time. It’s a bit hard to give suggestions though, as there are so many options for a 3 or 4 day stay. Could you tell more about your interesests? Are you fond of cities, smaller towns, train traveling, lakes, cable cars? Do you prefer to stay within one region, or would you rather make a round trip covering as much of the country as you can?

You could start by browsing the sections on the Bernese Oberland, Wallis and Graubünden to see which area appeals to you most. This forum contains lots of information on the Lucerne region too. The Swiss timetable helps to get an idea of traveling times.

Good luck and please let us know if you have a rough outline of ideas.
