Hi there - I'd love to do some flat(ish) mountain biking or single track in wengen. Anyone know any good trails or could offer up some good advice?
Thanks
Lets see....you go to the mountains to find a flat trail......
The Lauterbrunnen Valley might work for you:

Don't be surprised if a road or trail described by a Swiss as "level" turns out to have stretches +/- 30 degrees from horizontal. And, unless it is really dead level, don't be surprised if it takes you twice as long as the Swiss to walk it ( read the yellow Wanderweg signs.)

You can buy 1:50,000 topos with bicycle trails on them. Most sporting goods stores and "Aperto's" or "Kiosks" have them for the local region, although they may only have pedestrian maps at the convenience outlets. Your hotel my lend them; they can cost 15-25CHF, so be careful with them if yo have loaners.
With a good map at hand, trace the routes around Lake Spiez and Lake Thun. I'm not sure wheter you can get an uninterrupted ride, because of the way the mountains come down to the lakeshores. Bicycles are not allowed on express highways......auotroutes - motoways - whatever you call them.
