Good news for anyone who is planning to stay at least one night in the city of Bern. From June 1, 2014, the new Bern Ticket will be issued to anyone booking at least one night in any accommodation in town. The Bern Ticket gets you free unlimited public transport in Bern, including the ride up to the popular viewing point Gurten.

Swiss rail passes such as the Swiss Pass also include free public transport in Bern and many other Swiss towns, also without staying the night.
