Hi.

We are staying in the Interlaken area and will be driving. What is the best way to get to Gelmerbahn by car? I’ve seen suggestions to park in Meiringen. Is there a way to get closer to Gelmerbahn without having to take a bus or a train? Is it possible to park in Handegg?

If you look up Google Maps for Handegg, Gelmerbahn it shows parking areas.

You just drive up the Grimselpass road until you reach the Gelmerbahn.
