Glacier Express seat reservation Swiss Travel Pass

Hi,

My trip will be September 2022. I plan to purchase the Swiss Travel Pass next month. The Glacier Express train , Chur to Zermatt. will be opening soon for seat reservation booking. Can i purchase online without Swiss Travel Pass ? In the column i need to select with Swiss Travel Pass, so i only need to pay CHF 49 per seat. Right ?

Yes, you can purchase your seat reservation for the Glacier Express before you buy your Swiss Travel Pass. The main thing is that at the time of your travel you have to have your seat reservation and a valid Swiss Travel Pass (or other pass or a ticket that is valid on the Glacier Express).

Seat reservation in low season (CHF 39), in high season it is a bit higher.
