I need clarification on Glacier Express boarding passes. I received a seat reservation receipt and told to open pdf for voucher. The page was blank. So do I use the seat reservation receipt for boarding the train? It has no bar code on it. Have emailed office 4 times and they send seat reservation receipts no vouchers. Very confused.

Hi Sporty,

The PDF shouldn’t be blank – they wouldn’t attach a blank one. Perhaps try opening it with another PDF reader? A few can be found on the internet and are free. Otherwise, if that doesn’t work you could post it here and we could try opening it and see if we see something.

What company did you buy it from? Are they not understanding the problem?

I have tried different pdf versions – no vouchers. Can I vouchers at station when I get to Zermatt? I have order number and seat reservation receipt.

I wouldn’t wait until you arrive in Switzerland to get the voucher normally.

Who did you buy the vouchers from?

You did email them about this but they didn’t answer you at all?

I have finally realized that seat reservation form is the voucher. They are one and the same. Sorry for not getting that. I thought they were separate things.

Yes, I did get the proper ticket, voucher from the Glacier Express. Seat, carriage everything I need.
