Welcome to MySwissAlps! I just tried and the calendar to select a date works fine for me. You could try a different browser. Or you can book your seats through another website, e.g. http://www.happyrail.com/en/p ass/europe/switzerland /panoramic-trains. You’ll find several links to book seats and tickets on myswissalps.com/glacie rexpress/tickets.

Yes. I use chrome, firefox, and internet explorer and still cannot get the date to populate the area. I’ve tried at home and at work. It is very confusing. I’ve never had any problem like this before and have the used the internet constantly.

when you use chrome, how is the date format populating? such as 05/24/2017 or 24/05/2017 or with periods? 24.05.2017? what is the format?

It populates as day/month/year. It’s strange that you have this issue across browsers and systems. I’d recommend to simply book seats through the other website. It does not matter where you book.

I am having the exact same problem as you — with different browsers, different computers, etc. Did you solve your date-selection problem for the Glacier Express website ?

I finally got in last week through a very small window of time. I was just lucky I guess. No one at the Glacier Express could understand why I could not get in. I am not happy you had the problem but at least I know I’m not totally crazy!!

I am happy to report: the Glacier Express website is now populating the date field correctly. I would like to think it is because of the e-mail I sent to MGB railway company (and not a coincidence), having included links to 2 independent reports of travellers having this problem since Feb.21, 2017.

I discovered the problem: The reservation link does not work from the main page but you can click on the “Booking” link and then you can make the reservation from the booking page.
