    Hello

May i ask for your advice on my traveling plan during April17-22. I’m actually plan to visit many mountain already and interested to do hiking with route: http://www.myswissalps.com/hi king/bettmerhorn-marjelensee-fiescheralp to have Glacier experience.

I have check more detail for my travelling plan in http://www.aletscharena.ch/. I find out that cable car Fiesch-Fiescheralp will be in maintenance period.

Can i still do hiking with this route? If no, do they have other route which can me this kind of experience?

Thank you in advance for your suggestion.

    Onuma P.

    Hi Onuma,

That trail will be inaccessible. It’s a summer route and I would expect it to be open from June or so. Please see http://www.aletscharena.ch/ sports-winter/winter-walks/suggested-walks/ for what might be open, but it’s best to check with the tourist office when you’re there, or e-mail them to ask about their expectations. April is low season so winter trails will probably not all be maintained.
