If we take the Golden Pass in the opposite direction (from Montreux to Lucerne), is it the same gorgeous experience?

Since there is construction, how much of a pain is it going to be with all of our luggage to get off the train, ride a 15 minute bus, and back on a different train? Is it still worth it?

    Thanks!

I think it is still quite worth it yes. The train staff will help make the transfer as easy as possible.

Well certainly the scenery is the same, but some people to give an edge to going to Montreux. You get to come down the valley overlooking Lake Geneva, the vineyards etc.
