My husband and I are traveling on the golden Pass line with 2nd class seat reservations between lucerne and montreux.

We have 2 large cases. can we take our luggage on board with us and is there room to store it, particularly on the middle leg between Interlaken and Zweisimmen, which isn’t a panoramic train?

Also, there is a 6 minute time for connection in Zweisimmen. Is this achievable?

Yes, no worries about luggage, you can take it on all trains and there will always be somewhere to put it (not always right near you however).

Yes, that connection is fine – Zweisimmen has 2 or 4 tracks (very small station). They won’t build in connection times that aren’t achievable. 🙂

storage is not an issue with any swiss rail

6 minutes is a lot of time to switch trains on most of stations

usually connecting trains are available on adjoining platforms
