Gotthard Panorama Express or similar in April

    Hi all,

    Me and my family are interested in taking the Gotthard Panorama Express but I read that journeys runs from April 14 to October 22 which is too bad for us as we will be in Lucerne on April 6-8. Does anyone know any other scenic boat/train trip from Lucerne to Lugano that runs on early April?

    Hi Luthienbabe,

    You can make that trip all year round. It’s just the special tourist train that won’t operate when you’re there. You can admire the scenery from any train. Please see our Gotthard Panorama Express page.
