Buy Half Fare Card in UK and travel from Geneva

    I am travelling from Geneva to Interlaken and back in july. and if I purchase a half fare card in UK starting on the 9th July, but arrive in Geneva on the 11th july, can I then use the half fare card to purchase tickets (2) my wife and myself, at the reduced rate of 37.50chf each please ?/

    Hi fishermanrob,

    Yes, that will work as the Swiss Half Fare Card is valid for one month (until August 8 in your case). You can print the Swiss Half Fare Card at home via http://www.swisstravelsystem. co.uk or http://www.swissrailways.com/ en (slightly cheaper at the moment). It takes 1-3 working days to receive it through e-mail.

    You will need a half fare card for each traveler.

    Yes indeed, one card for each adult. The mentioned websites will ask for the number of travelers so you can’t go wrong there.
