Hike from Vrin (Switzerland) to coast of Italy

    Happy Life and Days all.

    I wonder if anyone has information on Hiking down to Italy?

    We are living near Vrin at the moment and would hope to get as far down the coast of Italy as possible by foot..

    Any info on ferry crossings from Italy to Montenegro or other destinations would be groovy too.

    Hi Richw88 and welcome to MySwissAlps,

    You might want to buy a hiking map. This forum is about traveling in Switzerland so I’m afraid we don’t have any information regarding ferry crossings from Italy to Montenegro.

    Hi Richard and Sarah,

    Interesting, I had never heard of Vrin before but apparently it’s not far from the Italian border. Alternatively you can hike all the way across the canton of Ticino before you reach Italy. That’s a wonderful region I haven’t seen enough of yet, but that should change soon.
