My freind and I will go to Swiztland first week of Oct. We would like to hike up to the summit of Schilthorn. can anybody with hiking experience in this region to help us develop an

itinerary.

Our preference is NOT to be based in one place and hike out daily but to go point-to-point in the mountains out of the valley.

we Prefer guest houses, huts, NOT luxury accommodations.

Thank you very much!

Hi Yajun,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! You could book a room in Mürren for a few days, e.g. in the Eiger Guesthouse or Pension Sonnenberg (a bit out of town). Then hike to the Schilthorn as soon as the weather is fine. If the weather is less cooperative there are plenty of other trails in the area.
