Could you please recommend a decent book on Swiss hiking trails. I bought one from Amazon but the quality of information was not very good.
Good website or app with information on hiking trails also welcomed.

    Marmot

    Hi Marmot,

I like the Rother guides; there’s some further information in this topic. Also, there are lots of trail descriptions on our website (links are on the left side of this page and on the homepage). Have you checked those? Wanderland is a good site as well.

The Kev Reynolds books “The Bernese Alps” and “Tour of the Jungfrau Region” are excellent.

    Websites: http://www.walkingswitzerland.com, http://activityworkshop.net/hiking/index.html

I have a 30+ page document on the Bernese Oberland that includes descriptions of more than a dozen hikes based on my 15 trips there. Happy to send it to you. If you would like a copy send me a private message with your email address and I can get it to you.

Thank you for the book! It will be on Amazon in mid March. Marmot.
