How to plan accommodation for 5 nights in Lucerne?

Dear friend,

we are 8 people (4 adults and 4 children) travelling to switzerland in May 2nd week,planning to stay for 5 nights,,,which is the best place to take stay for 5 nights and covering Jungfrau,Mt Titlis and Lucerne (Mt Pilatus) trips,,,,can we get good apartments in Lucerne?? please suggest

Can you add some additional information (see here) like budget, exact dates, etc? Apartments are easier to find when staying a week from Saturday to Saturday. Staying shorter is not impossible buy may limit your options. Would an hotel be ok as well?
