How to travel from Venice to Interlaken

    Hi, we are travelling to Europe in May. We were trying to figure out on how to travel to Interlaken from Venice by using the Swiss pass. Also, is the bus travel from Venice to Interlaken confirtable. Will the bus journey let one enjoy the views. Request if you can pls guide us. Thnx

    If you hold a Swiss Travel Pass you only have to buy a train ticket from Venice to the Swiss border (Domodossola or Chiasso) and from there on your journey would be covered.

    Please note that the Swiss Pass is for residents only, you must be talking about the Swiss Travel Pass. Be aware that the Swiss Travel pass exclusively for TRAIN journeys. The train is a recommendable mode of transportation, both from view and comfort aspects of travelling.

    The fastest route, with only 2 changes of train, will take you via Domodossola at the Swiss border – not Chiasso. See attached.
