I have a Swiss pass , which will be expiring the same day , i want to travel to Paris only once, do i need to book point to point ticket or is there any other economical option

The Swiss Travel Pass will cover your travel to the Swiss border (eg Basel or Geneva). From there you will need a ticket to Paris. See www.myswissalps.com/tr aintickets/france.
