Hi,

I understand not all train need to reserve seat. I a bit confused. Such route, Launterbrunnen to Luzern Bahnhof. When i check on the SBB train schedule . I saw, show "R" signed . Meaning , place reservation possible. Is that mean, before we ride. We need to go ticket counter to pay for the seat ? Please advise.

Thank you.

Angel

Hi Angel,

The 'R' symbol means it is possible to make seat reservations if you wish. It is not obligatory. Reservations are usually recommended if you are travelling as a group.

You can find more information here: www.myswissalps.com/train/reservations

Anna
