am on the way to Athens,have a 5hr 40min layover in Geneva, wondering if I have enough time to go and visit Old Town and if so which would be the best way to get there and back,arrive 6:45am and leave 12:05,thanks

Yes. I assume that you have to be back to Cointrin by 1000- 1015?

Train – Cointrin to Cornavin ( main station).

Walk or bus/tram to old town on the other side of the river.

Old town is hilly.

Reformation Wall behind the university and below the old town is worth a look..
