Is there a 1 day Swiss Travel pass, I have read on another site that there is however it says it must be purchase with Half Fare Card.. Im quite confuse on how it works and I hope I can get a help here..

Our plan actually is just to use the pass going to and fro Glacier 3000 from Geneva Airport. Would there be another cheaper way such as regional train or such..

    Hoping for a response.. 🙂

    Hi Jonna, welcome to MySwissAlps!

There no 1-day Swiss Travel Pass. All Swiss Travel Pass details can be found here: myswissalps.com/ swisstravelpass.

There is indeed an optional day pass for Swiss Half Fare Card holders, but you have to travel a lot to make that worth it. Please see myswissalps.com/ swisshalffarecard/deta ils.

Normal tickets are the best option if this is the only trip you’ll be making.

Train types don’t matter; all trains are priced the same.

    Enjoy the trip!

Hi thanks for the reply and clarifications. 🙂

Can we buy it at Geneva Airport itself? or anywhere near the airport before we begin our tour?

    Hi Jonna,

The train station at the airport can sell you the train ticket, and probably the bus ticket from Les Diablerets to the cable car station too. The cable car ticket has to be purchased on the spot; I don’t think they will sell that. Alternatively you can buy the train ticket from http://www.raileurope.com.sg/ destinations/countries / article/switzerland (as you live in Singapore).
