Thank you for your help. Still not clear about how far the path goes….looking at the map, which I did before posting, it is also unclear. The hikes above the lake sound also awesome. Susi

We both have that problem.
I think an email to the tourist office at Lausanne or Vevey might be the answer.
This link shows a trail.
Switzerland Mobility is often a good resource……

Thank you Slowpoke. I too use Swiss Mobility which has been super when hiking the gorgeous Swiss Alps, and other treks. LOVE those mountains and trails!! But this time I was not able to again find the answer.
I am only in Yverdon a few days and trying to see my options for a day outdoors…close by. I did not see a link to Lausanne tourist office, but sure I can find online.

Maybe Fribourg? Altstadt, walk Gotteron Schlucht as far as Ameismühle, swing back south then west over the field to Le Bourgillon, back to Altstadt. Long half day.
Not as grand as Lac Leman, but, a bit different.
Avenches?
Murten?
Old ruins on top of Mt.Vully?
Latenium near Neuchatel?
?
Slowpoke.
PS- Do you have a car? La Roche Devant above Bevaix?
