Hi all,
would you all know if there is any current promo for Travelers Wifi? Thanks!

Free wifi is available in many places now so I doubt it is necessary to use any ‘across-the-board’ promo.
Hi ying8484,
Currently there is no promotion on the Travelers Wifi.
You can find further details and options here: http://www.myswissalps.com/simcard

Yes, free wifi is common. However, it depends on your needs if that’s sufficient. It can be if you don’t heavily rely on it. If you need fast, safe internet with guaranteed availability, then you need something else. I would (mostly) not use free public wifi without a VPN. More details are on Anna’s link.
Hi Ying8484,
I stayed in Wengen earlier this month and with the Guest Card that we got from the hotel you could get 20% off Travelers WiFi if picked up at Tourist Information in Wengen. I already had mine so it didn’t help me but depending on where you’re staying there may be a discount with the local guest card. Because my wireless company charges outrageous fees for international use I used Travelers WiFi for everything, email, texts, iMessage, WhatsApp, calls over WiFi, maps, directions, plant id, SBB app etc! The battery doesn’t last all day so bring a portable charger or rent one with the unit. Enjoy!
Julie
