    Hello

    we are traveling from 12-25-12/29

and only have one day 12/26 when tour package is offered from lucerne to junfraujoch

we are traveling with 3 kids incl toddler and dont want to go through the hassle of changing trains in a foreign country so want to take the tour package

I have been reading every where that dont book the tickets in advance to jungfraujoch as weather plays a very important role especially in winter!

what do you think are chance the tour package will be sold out on 12/26/17?

if we dont take that tour …we wont be able to do jungfraujoch on our own !and that is our inly chance !

    Hi Supriyan,

I’m really not sure how busy those tours are. You would need to contact the tour operator and see what they say. If Jungfraujoch is a must visit for you and you can only go that day then perhaps book the tour and everyone will cross our fingers that the weather will be reasonable and you will get some great views. 🙂

The trip up by itself is pretty cool and you can do other things there if it is cloudy…but it in the end it is a personal call.

    Lucas

    Thanks!

What is the weather like usually around that time in your experience?

If its snowing or cloudy ,do you think its still worth the trip ?

It is a popular trip in the winter for sure. but it can get cloudy and snowy (winter in the mountains!) but if you get a sunny day it is quite spectacular.
