Trying to figure out which option is the most cost effective & having a hard time finding all the pricing information for each. (A) Berner Oberland Pass (B) Jungfrau Region Pass (C) Point to Point

    Would like to include:

    1) Interlaken to Harder Kulm – roundtrip

    2) Interlaken to First via Grindelwald – roundtrip

    3) Interlaken to Jungfraujoch via Lauterbrunnen – roundtrip

Can both pass options be purchased at Interlaken Ost? Can a reservation be made for Jungfraujoch when purchasing passes?

Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi yldwest, and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Point-to-point fares can be found here:

2nd class return fares are as follows:

Interlaken to Harder Kulm CHF 32

    Interlaken to First CHF 82.80

Interlaken to Jungfraujoch via Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald CHF 210.80

    >> Can both pass options be purchased at Interlaken Ost?

Yes. Prices and other purchase options for the Berner Oberland Regional-Pass and Jungfrau Travel Pass can be found here:

    >> Can a reservation be made for Jungfraujoch when purchasing passes?

Jungfraubahn seats can only be booked online at jungfrau.ch or at a Jungfrau Railways station counter. Seats can only be reserved for the sector between Kleine Scheidegg and Jungfraujoch.

Make sure you will have a clear day before making reservations! Forecasts are only accurate for 24-48 hours beforehand.

Thank you so much for your help & the information – it is greatly appreciated! I think it sounds like the Jungfrau Pass is the best option for what we want to see/do.

    Thank you again!!
