We are traveling to Jungfrau and Schilthorn with our six children (ages 15,14,10,7,5,0). We have Swiss Passes. I want to make sure I understand before we buy tickets. Do we get a 25% discount to Jungfrau and a 50 % discount to Schilthorn for the adults and all of the kids travel free? Also, how long should we plan to spend at each location? Thank you

Hi kbekker, and welcome to the forum! Yes, you assumptions are right. The Swiss Pass allows free traveling up to Wengen or Grindelwald, and a 25% discount between these towns and the Jungfraujoch. As for the Schilthorn: free traveling applies up to Mürren, and a 50% discount is granted between Mürren and the Schilthorn. All children aged 15 and under can travel along for free if you order a free STS Family Card along with your Swiss Pass. Details and purchase options can be found at the Swiss Pass page.

As for the time needed on both locations: that’s a bit personal. There’s quite a lot to see and do up at the Jungfraujoch, so you can easily spend some hours there. There are not that many activities up at the Schilthorn, but the view is stunning and you may want to sit back and enjoy it, either from the terrace outside or from the rotating restaurant.
