    Hi all,

I plan to stay in Grindelwald Grund this end of June 2017 and understand that it is half way to Kleinne Scheidegg before you continue to Jungfraujoch.

Understand that the train to Kleinne Scheidegg might be very crowded. My question is whether or not, in the morning (say around 7:30-8:00 am), it is possible and preferable to take the train from Grindelwald Grund or better go Grindelwald station or Interlaken Ost station first and take the train from there?

    Danke

    Hi MarvinH,

The Grindelwald Grund station is not halfway between Grindelwald and Kleine Scheidegg, but only a few minutes from Station Grindelwald.

You can very good depart from Grindelwald Grund to Kleine Scheidegg. There is always place in the trains. We have make this trip several times, we can always sit. When there are a lot of travelers, there are extra trains running.

(The train Interlaken Ost <> Grindelwald is an other train than train Grindelwald <> Kleine Scheidegg !)
