HI all, we currently have a trip booked to jungraujoch with “viator” travel company from interlaken but we also have the swiss travel pass and I’m wondering how difficult it would be (and if it would be cheaper) to do this trip on our own without a tour company from interlaken….do we get discount with travel pass? is it likely to sell out? we would like to go when there is good weather if at all possible. thks

    Hi Koenwell875,

You can certainly plan a trip to Jungfraujoch on your own and it might cost you much less than joining an organised tour. If you have a Swiss Travel Pass, your train journey from Interlaken to Wengen/Grindelwald is free and you just need to arrange for a discounted ticket to for the last stretch to Jungfraujoch. During peak period (such as summer), it is advisable to purchase your tickets in advance: https://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch/tickets

You can find a detailed information on how to reach Jungfraujoch here: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch/gettingthere

    Hope this helps.

    regards,

    Anna
