Hello,

We need your help/advice regarding this very badly!!
We are arriving to Zurich at 22:00 this coming Friday(Sep . We took a vacation home in Grindelwald.
After doing all the math for 6 Adults and 1 baby (8 month old), we bought Swiss cards for all 6 of us recently keeping in account the to & fro free travel from Airport.
Now, our Chalet management emailed us today that we can’t come by train that late in the night and we need to take a taxi.
Taxi from Zurich airport is very very expensive. So, we checked online and found that there is a train to Interlaken West at 22:40, which arrives in Interlaken at around 1 Am. Taxi from here is of a reasonable price.

We are travelling by Swiss Air and now we are wondering what if we miss the 22:40 train at Zurich airport if the flight gets delayed? Are there any other places close by to Interlaken that we could take a train to, at that time and then take a taxi from there?
Even if the flight comes on-time and if we don’t have any check-in baggage, is it practical to catch the 22:40 train?

Please help!!!!!!!

You should be able to make the 22:40 if your flight is on time. Otherwise there is 23:02 and a 23:43 to Bern with a change at Zurich HB

Another option is to book a hotel near the airport and travel the next morning. That might be more relaxed for you and it doesn’t need to be overly expensive. All information is here.
