Lauterbrunnen driving conditions 16th march

Hi,

I am planning on driving to stay in lauterbrunnen on march 16th, and I am wondering if it's easily accessible by a car with no snow chains/winter tyres?

What's the weather likely to be? Much snow coverage in the valley?

As far as I know there's a chance of fresh snow in the valley this time of the year. I wouldn't feel comfortable driving my car there with normal tires. Maybe there's no problem at all, but in case you get into trouble the consequences may be very unpleasant.
