I will be walking the Alpine Pass Route at the end of September. I will be traveling from Attinghausen towards Engelberg. The distance is rather far. I have tried calling Blackenalp and Stafeli but they are closed. Do you have any other suggestions for lodging in the area?

have you tried Spannort hütte SAC? According to the map it is close to your hike: http://www.spannorthuette.ch/ spannorthuette/
