    Hello everyone

If I take the Lucerne-Interlaken Express arriving at Interlaken Ost around 10.55 am, would I have time to reach the Golden Pass Line to Montreux departing at 11.08 am? It looks a large station and the trains seem to have different operators. Appreciate your helpful advice.

    Hi Elaine pizze,

Yes, this is sufficient to switch from one platform to another. Interlaken Ost train station has ramps connecting each platform and there are clear signages at the station. You can practical information on how train travel works here: http://www.myswissalps.com/train/practical/howtotravel

Further details about the Golden Pass route are available here: http://www.myswissalps.com/goldenpass

    Enjoy your trip.

    Regards,

    Anna

There are only three or four large stations in Switzerland. All other stations have a maximum of four passenger platforms. It takes around 5 minutes maximum to switch between trains at such stations

Even at a slow average walking pace, a person can cover 70 metres in just one minute
