    Does anyone know which hotels in Lugano offers free day pass for transportation?

    Hi luthienbabe,

    I assume you mean the Holiday Card: luganotourism.ch/en/74 0/holiday-card.aspx. As far as I know all accommodations offer it. You can search for room rates here: http://www.hotelscombined.com /Place/Lugano.htm.

    Hi Arno,

    Thanks for the link. It’s certainly useful. Does it also offer free bus and train trips within Lugano? My family and I are also planning to go to FoxTown Factory Stores and it would be great if the Holiday Card offers free train transportation

    By the way, how do I request for the Holiday Card? Do I just email the hotel? We are deciding between ibis Lugano Paradiso and ibis budget Lugano Paradiso.

    You’re welcome! What’s included is explained on the page I referred to. You can ask for the card when you check in. You’ll probably even get it without asking.
