Maintenance on cable car to Schilthorn, Piz Gloria

    Hi! Was reading info about the cable car to the James Bond lunch at Schilthorn, & noticed the calendar for maintenance included the time we are visiting the area. Does this mean that maintenance will close the cable car entirely or that it may experience delays?

    Maintenance on the cable car closes the entire mountain for a few weeks.

    Next spring the mountain is closed from 23.04. – 26.04.2019

    according the the maintenance info on this page

    schilthorn.ch/en/Infos /Timetable__and__Tarif f

    it would appear the cableway will be closed from 12th Nov and the funicular from 15 October this year – both until early December 2018
