Malpensa Airport-Lugano with Swiss Travel Pass

I am coming into Milan Malpensa airport and want to go to Lugano, Switzerland. I have a Swiss Travel Pass, but I need to buy a ticket from the airport to the Swiss border. How do I do this in advance and what town do I go to on the Swiss border?

As you have a Swiss Travel Pass, you need a ticket only for the Italian part of your journey. You'll cross the border at Stabio. So you need a ticket from the airport to Stabio. You can buy it here: www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/italy/price.

Thank you Ildiko, this looks very helpful. Is it easy to find the train at Malpensa? I’m coming in from Naples with Ryanair/Maltaair.

I am not an expert in Malpensa, but I expect that it should be easy as the train station is at the airport. I am pretty sure there will be signs there, so you'll find your way. I've found a map of the airport, I attach it for you.
