Hi , I will be in Wengen for three days in my 11 days trip on 25/26 Jun. In one of conversation (same subject line) I read that it will open after mid June so I guess I will be fine.

Also which way is easier (down hill) from Mannlichen- Kleine Scheidegg or way back. Also how long it take to get there with few stops for pictures. I am planning to take cable car from Wengen-Mannlichen and take trail to Kleine Scheidegg before take train to Jungfrau. Please advise so I change my plan to take train from Wengen to Kleine Scheidegg.

Hello,

Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg is more downhill than uphill, so slightly easier. With ample time for photo stops, I would allow 2 hours.

One other suggestion would be to go up to the Jungfraujoch, return to Kleine Scheidegg, and then walk back down to Wengen. You would need to allow around 2 hours for that walk back down, allowing for further photo stops en route.

I would like to do circle so cover all in one day – Wengen- Mannlichen-Kleine Scheidegg – Jungfrau -Kleine Scheidegg – Grindelwald – Interlaken – Wengen. I hope this is good decision so don’t miss Grindelwald.
