How to plan day trip to Matterhorn from Interlaken

Hi....

I would like to know if it is possible for us to have a day trip to Matterhorn from Interlaken and how we could plan it. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Rameen,

Yes, it is possible, but will be a long day. Note that you can't visit the actual Matterhorn, but from the village of Zermatt, you can go up to several viewpoints to see the Matterhorn. The two most popular are the Gornergrat and Klein Matterhorn.
