Mt Pilatus hike to Klimsenkapelle

    Does anybody know if it is possible to get to the Klimsenkapelle , the little church on the Pilatus mountain, please? If so how should one go about doing it? We are travelling in October so it should be the end of the summer.

    Hi Wollie,

    How early or late in October? You’ll start getting snow and bad weather by mid-October usually.

    I haven’t done the hike myself and didn’t see it on the Pilatus website (https://www.pilatus.ch/en/discover/hiking-on-the-pilatus/) but when I was on Pilatus it wasn’t terribly far to get there. You may want to contact Pilatus directly and ask for details especially regarding the date you are thinking about.
