need help to plan a trip to swizz and paris

Hi guys! we are a couple from middle east. We are planning our trip to swiss and paris during christmas week. We will be flying into zurich and planning to stay for 4 nights in swiss. We wish to see the alps and interlaken. You can also suggest something that we must do during these days. We have clear idea of things to do in paris. Although u can suggest affordable places to stay in both countries. Please help. What will be the aprox budget in US$ for 10 days in both countries on standard scale? excluding the flight tickets.
