New name for Wilhelm Tell Express from 10th Dec 20

Interesting news for travellers in Switzerland:-

Gotthard Panorama Express

On 10 December the Wilhelm Tell Express will run for the last time under its current name, with the Gotthard Panorama Express replacing it in 2017.

As before, travel by boat from Lucerne before taking the train on the spectacular Gotthard panorama route to Ticino. Passengers will still be joined by a travel guide but will experience new special effects and be given additional information on the region whilst on board. This will be a scenic alternative to the new Gotthard Base Tunnel trip.

Have just taken a trip on the Wilhelm Tell in August this year so might have to wait until next year and would also love to try the new Gotthard Base Tunnel too.
