One way ticket from Interlaken to Basel

Hi,

I plan to buy a one way ticket from Interlaken to Basel next weekend.

Would it be possible to stop in Bern for 6 hours and then get back onto the train to Basel on the same train ticket?

Yes. As long as you complete your journey same day
