Leaving next week. Going from Zurich airport to Lucern for a few days, then Wengen for 2 days then Bellagio and ending in Milan. Does a swiss pass allow me to travel from Wengen to Milan (there are 2 stops in Switzerland, so only Speitz to MIlan is an international hop). Just get a Eurail pass for the 2 countries? I'm doing the math, but it is getting very confusing. If the weather permits, we will go up to Jungfrau, so I would think a pass would make sense for a discount...? Help

Hi Paoneml and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Well without doing the math (have you used our spreadsheet here?) I would look at the Swiss Travel Pass.
It covers you to the Swiss border (so either Domodossola or Chiasso depending on the route from Spiez) so you just need a ticket from there to Milan. You will also get a 25% discount to Jungfraujoch from Wengen. So it is probably the right choice without doing the math - certainly the simplest.

A Eurail Select Pass for 2 countries could work if you are traveling by train around Italy more than just to Milan otherwise it is overkill I'd think.

Thank you for your reply--I did all the math a few different ways and I came to the same conclusion that you did. It's good to have someone else come up with the same answer!
