    Hello there,

I see your website says “Tickets for cableways, mountain trains, etc. are open dated unless they can be printed at home. This even applies if you’re asked to select a travel date. You can use the ticket whenever you want.”

However, while booking (via website swiss-pass.ch) Swiss passes for my family along with mountain excursions to Glacier 3000, Jungfrau and Rochers-de-naye, I am asked to choose a date. Does this mean if the ticket comes out with a date on it, we are supposed to travel only on that date and not flexible dates?

    Please suggest and clarify.

    Thanks, Sushma.

    Hi Sushma,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! The conditions you quoted applies to the official SBB tourist webshop: https://shop.switzerla ndtravelcentre.com/#/e n/home. I don’t know the website you mentioned.

Jungfraujoch is a print@home ticket and the date you pick is fixed. Unless they changed something meanwhile, the other tickets are physical tickets and will be open dated. The date you pick is more like a “from” date, but you can use the ticket later during your stay too.
