Hi ! My partner and I have a Eurotrip coming ahead and are planning on buying the Eurail Global Pass. We understand this does not include some train sections within Switzerland so we’ve been looking into buying point to point tickets for those legs not included. However, we have a few questions about them. Is a point to point ticket a return or one way trip? We can’t find a way to select either option on the SBB website. Also, IF they are return, what are the conditions? We are specifically after KLEINE SCHEIDEGG to JUNGFRAUJOCH. With a point to point ticket, can we board at KLEINE SCHEIDEGG, get to JUNGFRAUJOCH and travel back to KLEINE SCHEIDEGG on the same day with the same ticket?

Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance!!

Hello Catalina and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

For details of Jungfraujoch see http://www.myswissalps.com/ju ngfraujoch/gettingther e and also check out the “tickets” tab on that page. You would normally buy a return ticket as there is nowhere to stay at Jungfraujoch.

Please note that with a Eurail Global Pass you will need point to point tickets for any rail transport south of Interlaken in the Jungfrau Region. That pass only gets you 25% discount on those routes.

The official Jungfraujoch pricelist can be found at bit.ly/2J5H92u.
